Join Bethany Christian Church for an education and awareness event centered on the intersection of mental wellbeing and communities of faith. Participants will learn how to replace stigma, harmful theology, and traditional religious practices with welcome, inclusion, affirmation, and accommodation. Keynote Speaker: Rev. Dr. Sarah Griffith Lund
Sarah Griffith Lund was ordained in 2002 and has pastored congregations since 2003. She holds degrees in divinity, social work, and ministry, and serves nationally as Board Director of Mental Health America, Board Director of Disability Ministry Network, and on think tanks for mental health and faith with the U.S. Office of Faith-based Neighborhood Partnerships. Rev. Dr. Lund is the author of several books, including Blessed are the Crazy: Breaking the Silence About Mental Illness and Blessed Minds: Breaking the Silence About Neurodiversity.
